Message from Mr. Kyle: youtu.be/lZ0HIq4t6I0 The GT meeting which was scheduled for this evening has been postponed. I will provide information regarding the testing for students who have been referred to GT. I will also provide forms for anyone wishing to refer a student to be tested. There will be a questionnaire for parents to complete as well. The referral forms are available in the office or you may simply email or call Jana Edmonds: jedmonds@loraine.esc14.net IMPORTANT MESSAGE: It seems our little community has been struck with COVID-19. As many know, we had several staff and a high number of student body out on Friday due to staff reasons - some positive and some needing to be quarantined. Even this afternoon, I have received results from staff that play a major role in our school operations. For this reason, we feel for the safety of our students, staff, and community that Loraine ISD move to full remote for the next weeks leading up to the break. This will begin Monday December 7th and end on Friday December 18th. Students will use online classrooms as we have done in the past or can reach out to the school or their teachers if paper packets are needed. Christmas break for all will still be December 21st - January 3. We know the inconvenience this can cause and we want you to all know we are working very hard and making delicate decisions daily regarding your students education! We love our kiddos and staff and want the best for them. On Tuesday, December 8th, we will begin providing Breakfasts and Lunches to any student that needs it. You will be able to pick up sack meals from 11:00am – 1:00pm daily from the back door of the cafeteria (South parking lot of the school). Call the school beginning on Monday for more information if needed. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you need anything.
